We”re looking for an ACH & Payments Operations Manager to lead day-to-day payment operations across the U.S. and Canada while helping scale a fast-growing fintech platform that supports cross-border payments for consumers and businesses alike.

You”ll oversee ACH and Interac operations, improve controls and automation, partner with banks and processors, and play a major role in keeping payments flowing across borders with speed and precision.

What You”ll Be Doing
Own the Payment Rails
Lead daily ACH and Interac payment operations across the U.S. and Canada.
Oversee file processing, submissions, settlements, reconciliations, and payment workflows.
Manage inbound and outbound payment activity, including returns, chargebacks, R-codes, and exception handling.
Ensure compliance with NACHA, Interac, and internal operational standards.
Lead the Operations Team
Manage and mentor a team of Payments & Operations Analysts.
Set priorities, processing schedules, SLAs, and operational best practices.
Coach team members on payment procedures, troubleshooting, and operational excellence.
Create a culture focused on accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Improve Processes & Automation
Monitor operational queues, alerts, dashboards, and payment health metrics.
Identify ways to reduce manual work, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve accuracy.
Partner with internal teams to streamline workflows and build scalable operational processes.
Drive automation initiatives that improve KPIs and operational efficiency.
Collaborate Across Teams & Partners
Work cross-functionally with customer support, compliance, product, and business teams to resolve payment issues.
Act as a key operational contact for banks, processors, and payment partners.
Escalate and resolve settlement or file transmission issues quickly and effectively.
Help improve the end-to-end customer payment experience.
